America SCORES New York is currently recruiting corporate teams for our third annual SCORES Cup which will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2008 at Pier 40 from 2 – 7 p.m.
The SCORES Cup is an exciting soccer tournament, where some of New York’s leading corporations duke it out on the soccer field for New York City bragging rights! 2008 teams include ESPN, MLS, JP Morgan and many more.
The SCORES Cup offers a wonderful opportunity for corporations to build teamwork amongst their employees in a fun-filled day, while supporting an important cause - 100% of the proceeds from the event go directly to support after-school programs in Washington Heights and Harlem.
The early-bird special is valid through March 31st and costs only $2,500 per team - Fully tax deductible.
America SCORES New York is the only after-school program in New York City that combines soccer, poetry, and service learning to dramatically change the lives of hundreds of public elementary school students. Although we are proud of serving over 300 children, for every child we serve there is one that we do not have the resources to serve. The SCORES Cup is a unique fundraiser that enables your colleagues to have fun AND support a valuable cause - New York Kids!
